When is DSM-5 starting? How will my recordkeeping change? What happens if I don’t make the changes on time? These topics and more will be part of an informative discussion led by Erica Kirsners, LICSW, one of NASW’s volunteer clinical experts, who will help us transition in anticipation of the October 15, 2015 deadline to update all therapy records with DSM-5 and ICD-10. She will share with us her astute observations, expertise and wisdom on the important upcoming changes.

The NASW-MA Northeast Region Private Practice Shared Interest Group invites all NASW members to attend its upcoming meeting.

The Northeast Region Private Practice Shared Interest Group usually meets the 4th Friday of every month, and supports members with all aspects of private practice including administrative, marketing, legal, and clinical issues. In addition to focusing on practical matters such as billing, and insurance company policies, the private practice shared interest groups also address how these concerns impact clinical work. For more information, see the NASW-MA Private Practice resource pages.
