Clinical Social Worker- Psychiatry/Mother-Child Wellness Clinical & Research Center, Dept. of OB/GYN. Job Description Summary Utilizing psychotherapy techniques, assessing and intervening in population of high-risk women in Obstetrics clinic. Duties also include, conducting psychosocial assessments, making a psychosocial diagnosis, planning and implementing effective treatments. The position requires interacting with the high-risk women partners and children, providing education and coaching. Candidate needs to be highly collaborative as he/she will communicate with a range of medical professionals engaged in an interdisciplinary program. Job Description Required skill set: 1) Master's Degree from an accredited school of Social Work. 2) A Massachusetts license as a Licensed Certified Social Worker or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (or eligible for licensure within 90 days of hire). 3) Minimally two of the following therapy skills: motivational interviewing, psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and/or dialectical behavior therapy. 3) Work experience with individuals from a variety of backgrounds, including urban, low income, and those from different cultures/countries. 4) Previous experience in hospital or healthcare setting. 5) Appreciation of the research process in the academic setting. 6) Advanced interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with various healthcare professionals, to develop and maintain effective therapeutic relationships with patients and families, and to supervise graduate students. 7) Must be comfortable in a fast paced and dynamic work environment. 8) Excellent English language skills to summarize and communicate orally and in writing moderately complex information in varied formats to different customers. 9) Bicultural/Bilingual competency, Spanish or Haitian Creole preferred. 10) Computer literacy with ability to use standard word processing, spreadsheet programs and e-mail (i.e. MS Word, Excel, Outlook) and web browsers. Desired skill set: 1) Knowledge of the social work process and community resources, agencies. 2) Non-traditional treatment modalities in mental health, such as yoga, mindfulness, and/or art therapy. 3) Experience in working with quantitative and/or qualitative data analyses. Clinical Care Manager. Bay Cove Human Services, Inc. is now hiring a Clinical Care Manager for our Behavioral Health Home, a program that provides comprehensive care coordination to individuals with chronic conditions, including a behavioral health concerns.
