NASW-MA staff and members frequently testify at the State House in support or opposition of various bills that would enhance or harm the social work profession or social justice. We encourage social workers in all settings to attend public hearings and make their voices heard on issues that make a difference in the profession and lives of the clients and communities we serve. Join Political Director Sophie Hansen as she provides a brief overview of public hearings, what is involved in a testimony (including how to write one), and most importantly - how to get involved with the legislative and advocacy activities at the Chapter. This webinar will be recorded for those who cannot make this live viewing, although time for Q&A will be built-in.
