Program Details 

 

Friday, October 25, 2019 | 8:45 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. | Registration: 8:00 a.m. | Holy Cross College, Hogan Campus Center

 

The annual NASW-MA School Social Work Conference brings together school social workers from across the state who work with youth in all levels of schools. In addition to school social workers, the conference is open to all school adjustment counselors. In addition to LCSW and LICSW credits, LMHC continuing education credits will also be offered. Keynote speaker Elizabeth Englander will discuss social media use and the impact on students. Her topic Life Online: Social Media Use and Social Development in Children and Adolescents offers a deep dive into the myriad issues facing school aged youth with the growing considerations of social media Participants will then have the opportunity to choose among morning and afternoon workshops that cover a wide range of topics related to working with children and adolescents in school settings.


This program is approved for 5.5 CEUs for social workers and LMHCs.

Cost of Attendance: $90 for NASW/MaMHCA* members / $120 for non-members.
