Title: Pandemic transitions: What’s Next for Your Sessions? Virtual, In-Person or Hybrid? | 1.5 CEUs
Date: Thursday, May 6, 2021 (12-1:30pm)
Speaker: Sherry Cohen, MEd, MSW, LICSW
Description: This dynamic workshop will discuss the practical, clinical, ethical, financial and emotional factors related to re-opening sessions from Tele Mental Health to hybrid, in-person or virtual. Focus on self-care and what you need to navigate this transition comfortably and successfully. When is it time to re-open or is it? What is right for you? NASW & CDC Guidelines will be reviewed.
Diversity: How does Tele Mental Health versus in-person impact communities of color, disabilities, gender, and/or age? Is there a marked difference?
Objectives:
To identify at least 3 practice policies and action plans to determine if, when and how to re-open or to continue virtual sessions or both.
To recognize at least 3 personal variables that impact your decision.
To name 3 self-care strategies that you can implement to manage stress related to transitions
