This program will include a facilitated group discussion of the movie. From IMDb: The seemingly perfect relationship between a man and his wife is tested as a result of her alcoholism. Attendees shall have viewed the movie in advance of this program. The program will consist of a facilitated group discussion of the movie in order to meet the course objectives. Discussion facilitator: Francine Harrison, LICSW, CISM Course Objectives: Objective 1: To identify at least 3 differences in the process of addiction between men and women. Objective 2: Gain an understanding of how an individual's addiction/substance dependence problem impacts family members. Objective 3: Increase awareness of the factors needed for individuals, particularly women, to achieve recovery from addiction/substance dependence.
