In this two-hour workshop, participants will review the neurobiological impact of stress and trauma, followed by an in-depth look at Secondary Traumatic Stress (STS). Part two of training will provide an in-depth look at STS, the emotional distress that results from an individual hearing about the firsthand traumatic experiences of another person, as well as a deeper dive into moral distress and other aspects of the stress response.
