This webinar is a two-part program - see descriptions below:


Part 2: This webinar will offer treatment modalities for one of the main characters of Triggered Life, Ishmael.  Roxann will also talk about how social workers can show up for Black men to support their journey to healing. Online registrations are closing on November 6. 


Part 1 (Shattering the Silence): The showing of the one man show Triggered Life. The Triggered Life experience is a 90m long tour de force followed by a guided grounding exercise, and talkback. Click here to register for part 1 on Tuesday, November 1 @12:00 - 1:30pm EST. 


  • Participants will build their awareness about Black male sexual trauma experiences.

  • Participants will discover ways to provide treatment to Black male to survive and thrive after sexual trauma.

  • Participants will discover their ways to participate in the healing to inspire surviving and thriving for Black males who have experienced sexual trauma.


Speakers bio: 

Roxann Mascoll M.S., MSW, LICSW, is a child protection and domestic violence Consultant. Roxann is the Lead Clinician for The Triggered Project, and a co-host of the Living a Triggered Life Podcast with her husband Keith. Roxann is a staff psychotherapist and EMDR Therapist at Brandeis University Counseling Center. Roxann is the Vice President of the Alumni Board at Simmons University. www.roxannmascoll.com


Keith Mascoll SAG-AFTRA,AEA is a Actor, Producer ,Mental Health advocate, Sneaker-head, and Founder of the Triggered Project. Keith is a co-host/Producer of the Living a Triggered Life Podcast with his wife Roxann, a Luminary for the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, 2021 Cambridge Community Foundation Social Innovation Award winner, and NASW MA Chapter’s Citizen of the year 2021. Keith strives to use his art for social change in the black and brown community. As a survivor of sexual abuse Keith hopes to help end the stigma that surrounds mental health, and black and brown men. Keith is also a co-founder of a professional black theater company, The Front Porch Arts Collective.
