Webinar description:

In times of extreme crisis and stress, social workers continue to serve on the frontlines, making peer support essential for resilience and self-care. This experiential webinar introduces GPS Group Peer Support's MASStrong Program, an evidence-based, trauma-informed peer support model designed to reduce burnout and enhance well-being among healthcare and social service professionals. Participants will not only learn about the MASStrong Program and how to receive training for free, but also experience a peer support group firsthand, gaining real-time support and practical strategies for self-care and professional sustainability.

Learning objectives:

  • Introduce the MASStrong Peer Support Model – Educate participants on MASStrong’s evidence-based, trauma-informed approach to reducing burnout and enhancing well-being among healthcare and social service professionals.

  • Provide a Firsthand Peer Support Experience – Offer participants the opportunity to engage in a structured peer support group, fostering connection, reflection, and shared resilience-building.

  • Equip Participants with Practical Self-Care Strategies – Share real-time support and actionable techniques to help social workers manage stress, strengthen resilience, and sustain their professional well-being.
