  • The similarities and differences when a male soldier/father is deployed and when a female soldier/mother is deployed.
  • The coping strategies used by family members before, during and after the deployment.
  • The psychological issues that need to be faced by the deployed soldier in a war zone.
  • How the state of a marriage before deployment influences the psychological adjustment of both spouses before, during and after deployment.
  • To identify the impact of deployment on children and how to engage resources available to them.
