Updates Regarding Coronavirus & NASW-MA Events

On Tuesday, we sent an email to our members about COVID-19, which you can read below. We will refer to that message going forward as Bulletin #1. This message will be Bulletin #2. We will continue to communicate in this way as we move forward working together to combat the coronavirus so you can easily pull up the messages related to various topics import to you and your practice during this time.
As you now know, Governor Baker declared a State of Emergency in Massachusetts on Tuesday late in the afternoon. We are working on postponing and making virtual many of our upcoming events in order to work with the administration and be part of the effort to mitigate the spread of the coronavirus. We ask that all member-led groups (Councils, Commissions, Committees, and SIGs) create virtual participation options for your meetings until the State of Emergency is lifted. If you need a conference or video line set-up for you for this purpose, please email us at Our staff are ready to support you in this.
Thank you all for patience and understanding during this trying and unprecedented time. We are working diligently to create virtual and remote opportunities for pre-planned and soon-to-be announced on-line workshops so that you can continue to earn the CEUs you need. Please check our website's event calendar for updates about all continuing education opportunities, including webinars we are working to create and make available to you as soon as possible.
In the meantime, if you need CEUs in the immediate future, please visit our NASW-MA Online CE Institute for free and low-cost web-based continuing education courses.

P.S. See a message that went out this morning from NASW's President Kathryn Conley Wehrmann
