You may now bill for your Medicare clients!
NASW-MA Chapter received the following important information from National NASW:
The Senate approved a permanent repeal of the sustainable growth rate (SGR) formula for physician reimbursement under Medicare, a bill which the House had passed on March 26.
This means that Medicare providers' payments will not annually be threatened with a decrease (this year it would have been 21%,) and in fact will automatically be increased 0.5% annually for the next five years.
