Come learn how to use your social work experience and expertise to be an effective activist. Participants will receive an overview of the state legislative process, hear from social workers with experience as lobbyists and elected officials, and learn skills to prepare you to give testimony, organize, and write letters to the editor or op-eds. Take advantage of an optional State House tour after the workshop.
