People under carceral control are at disproportionately high risk from COVID-19. Prisons and jails are epicenters for COVID-19 transmission, including to the community. High rates of preexisting health conditions, limited access to quality healthcare, and inability to social distance make it impossible to reduce the impact of COVID-19 in these settings. This webinar will review evidence-based strategies and provide an overview of relevant current policy efforts.
