Join us for a free yoga class for social workers. We will be led by Stephanie Javaheri, a Boston-area yoga teacher. Movement has always been a part of her life as a runner, triathlete, long distance open water swimmer, and yogi. The practice of yoga has always felt like coming home. She sees the beautiful blend of conscious mindful movement with intentional breath to be the most grounding and gratitude filled practice. While forever grateful to share the beauty of yoga with others she is always a student in awe of her practitioners and those who have taught her. Stephanie sees yoga as being accessible to anyone with an open mind and the willingness to go within. Her classes offer a meditative slow flow with a focus on alignment and breath with the ultimate goal of connecting to one’s true nature. All that’s required is to show up and smile! Off the mat Stephanie continues to move and be humbled with her 3 teenage sons, her amazing husband, and 6 pound dog Essie!
