Presenter: Jai-Me Potter-Rutledge, PhD candidate at Salve Regina University.

This interactive and discussion based presentation will challenge you to think about the ways that implicit bias is pervasive in our daily interactions without us knowing. It will give you examples and opportunities to practice ways to address bias in a safe and controlled environment. This presentation is meant to be informative, engaging, and uplifting.

After completing this webinar participants should be able to:

  1. Understand the ways in which unconscious bias impacts the way we treat our patients and therefore patient outcomes.
  2. Identify and reflect on their own biases.
  3. Apply techniques to combat unconscious bias.
  4. Develop a concrete plan to remain committed and engaged to reducing unconscious bias in your practice.

REGISTRATION FEES
