Union Organizing: What Social Workers Should Know Speakers: Matthew Gunnip and Jesse Martin Thursday, September 11 (12-1:30pm EST) Earn 1.5 CEUs Registration fees: Description: Discussion of how to organize, participate and lead in your workplace. Whether you are in a union or are interested in learning what it takes to form a Union. Solidarity with your co-workers is key to making sure that workloads are well balanced and reasonable, and ensuring that you are properly compensated. This webinar is eligible for CEUs in the following categories: Cross-cultural practice, Anti-racism, Anti-discrimination. Learn how to organize, participate and lead in your workplace. To learn the structure of organizing conversations grounded in empowering workers to see themselves as active participants in building solidarity with their co-workers as key to making sure that workloads are well balanced and reasonable, and ensuring they are properly compensated. To learn to build conversations and take actions that bring us closer to creating a more just and humane society.
