NASW-MA Student Ambassador Program

Program Description:

  • 2-3 NASW-MA Student Members will be selected from each school of Social Work in Massachusetts.

  • Term: September 2025 to May 2026 - applications are now open!

  • Time Commitment: 4 hours each month and a virtual monthly meeting

  • Student Ambassador role includes but is not limited to:

    • Being the voice of NASW by distributing and promoting NASW member benefits, news, and events.  
    • Volunteering at two out of three major NASW events (LEAD, Symposium, Awards Ceremony).
    • Updating Chapter staff each month on school activities and student feedback.
    • Participating in the Facebook group to access documents, offer feedback, and connect with other Student Ambassadors.
    • Attending two shared interest group meetings throughout the year (one in the fall, one in the spring)
    • Participate in monthly virtual meetings with ambassadors from other schools. 
    • Recruiting Student Ambassadors for the following year.
    • Please note: Student ambassadors are expected to join NASW-MA as a student member!
