NASW-MA Student Ambassador Program

Program Description:

2-3 NASW-MA Student Members will be selected from each school of Social Work in Massachusetts.
Term: September 2025 to May 2026 - applications are now open!
Time Commitment: 4 hours each month and a virtual monthly meeting
Student Ambassador role includes but is not limited to:
- Being the voice of NASW by distributing and promoting NASW member benefits, news, and events.
- Volunteering at two out of three major NASW events (LEAD, Symposium, Awards Ceremony).
- Updating Chapter staff each month on school activities and student feedback.
- Participating in the Facebook group to access documents, offer feedback, and connect with other Student Ambassadors.
- Attending two shared interest group meetings throughout the year (one in the fall, one in the spring)
- Participate in monthly virtual meetings with ambassadors from other schools.
- Recruiting Student Ambassadors for the following year.
- Please note: Student ambassadors are expected to join NASW-MA as a student member!
